A Tamaqua woman has been cited following a domestic incident in the borough on Valentine's Day.

Patrolman Peter Wysochansky was dispatched to 220 Orwigsburg St. at 6:30 p.m. On scene he met Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, who had already separated the feuding parties, identified as Corey Vanetten, 34, and Allison Jade Sanders, 32. When Rodgers first arrived at the home he observed Sanders punching Vanetten in the face.Sanders said she had been trying to get some sleep but was unable to rest due to Vanetten's attitude. When Vanetten refused to try to sleep she began throwing things at him then resorted to the punching.Vanetten was advised to leave the home for the night, which he did.Sanders has been charged with harassment.
