Stabilis Split Rock JV LLC, was approved for a request for a public hearing to present plans for Willowbrook Planned Residential Development. The 236-acre development originated with Vacation Charters Ltd. in 1999 and was acquired by Stabilis Split Rock in 2015, with only six of the 14 proposed 48-unit time shares completed.
The Willowbrook Split Rock Resort preliminary development plan was given a recommendation for conditional plan approval by the Carbon County Planning Commission in May 2016. Construction is planned to begin in March 2017 and run through March 2028.The hearing for Willowbrook will take place Aug. 18.Kidder Township's Board of Supervisors focused mainly on subdivision and land development business during the Thursday night meeting at the township municipal building.• An extension request was granted to Mid Lake II - Boulder Lake Village for a land development improvements agreement, which was adjusted to July 20, 2018.• Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania was approved for the release of a land development improvements agreement, along with an entrance into a land development maintenance agreement that will last until Jan. 18, 2018.• Yolanda M. Fegley, Rachel R. Fegley and Naomi Milnes were approved for a 30-day extension in regard to a minor subdivision and lot line revision. This involves the division of a 0.46-acre lot owned by Fegley, in addition to combining a 0.079-acre lot with Milnes' 0.449-acre lot to make a 0.528-acre lot.
