A Carbon County resident is facing criminal charges filed by state police and the state board of liquor control.

Yvonne L. Anthony, 51, of Kunkletown, has been charged with felony forgery, and misdemeanors counts of tampering with evidence and obstruction of administration of law.According to police Anthony allegedly fabricated bank documents, falsely claiming a bank error was the cause of checks that were returned for the purchase of malt or brewed beverages in the course of her licensed liquor business, Palm Beverage in Palmerton.The charges were filed at the office of District Judge William Kissner, of Palmerton.
