A safe way to get rid of those pills is to take them to a nearby police station on Oct. 29, Drug Take Back Day.The following stations will accept unwanted, unused prescription medication from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Pennsylvania State Police, 5730 Interchange Rd., Lehighton; Summit Hill Police Department, 40 W. Amidon St.; Slatington Police Department, 125 S. Walnut St. or the Walnutport Police Department, 417 Lincoln Avenue.
