The Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board has cited a Carbon County business.
Gina Properties, trading as Lizard Creek Tavern, 1424 W. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, was cited for fortified, adulterated and/or contaminated liquor. The violation occurred on April 28, the liquor board charged.This offense will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalites ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of license based on the severity of the charge brought.
