State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents.
• On Oct. 28 at 10:25 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a crash along Route 115 at Switzgable Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. On scene troopers observed George Sigafoos, 63, of Easton, inside his vehicle receiving medical treatment from EMS personnel. A search warrant was obtained for Sigafoos’ blood results. As a result he has been charged with driving under the influence.
• On Nov. 5 at 2:34 a.m. along Bond Lane at Route 715, in Chestnuthill Township, the operator of a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe was observed sleeping in her running vehicle for about one hour in the parking lot of a Wawa store. The driver, identified as Rebekah Rushin, 33, of Henryville, was found to be impaired and in possession of a controlled substance and related drug paraphernalia.
She was taken into custody for DUI and drug possession. She refused a blood test. A front seat passenger, Andrew Ricken, 34, of Saylorsburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Both were taken to the county prison for processing with charges filed.
• On Dec. 4 at 1:35 p.m. troopers responded to a parking lot at the intersection of Weir Lake Road and Route 209, in Chestnuthill Township, at the General Dollar Store. During the course of the investigation the driver, a 21-year-old man from Kunkletown, who troopers declined to identify, was taken into custody for DUI and drug possession.
