ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Members of the Coaldale VFW Post 6982 held a music and dance fundraiser Saturday night at their post to benefit the Coaldale Volunteer Fire Company No. 1. About a dozen volunteer firefighters were also on-hand during the event. Faith Richards, auxiliary president, Coaldale VFW, stated, "The fire company touches all of our lives everyday. Coaldale owes it to them." Ruthann Kehl, auxiliary junior vice president, Coaldale VFW, "said, "The fire company needs to survive and this is why we are doing it," stressing the little funding the fire company has. Coaldale volunteer firefighters and VFW members enjoying themselves during the benefit are Roxanne Marek, Bob Ciavaglia, Jason Gilbert, Kate McGinley, Tom Polischak and Amy Ciavaglia.
