New Year's Eve

The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 19th annual New Year's Eve event on Dec. 31 at the Tamaqua ABC Hi Rise, 222 E. Broad St.Festivities will be held from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m.The 200 block of East Broad Street will be closed to traffic during those hours.The chamber is accepting donations to help defray costs of the lighted wreaths and Christmas decorations in the downtown area.For more information, call 570-668-1880.St. John LutheranThe Rev.
