Carbon Career & Technical Institute's Joint Operating Committee approved the a new long-term substitute teacher as well as several salary increases last week.

William R. Bravo was approved as a long-term substitute teacher for graphic design, effective through the end of CCTI's second semester, at a prorated salary of $36,700.Marketing/Distributive Education Instructor Stephanie Barto was approved for a $500 longevity increase, adjusting her 2016-2017 salary to $65,975.Special Education math teacher Kimberly Bittle was approved for a $600 master's/master's equivalent increase, adjusting her 2016-2017 salary to $38,300.Science teacher Anna Leigh Conway was approved for a $600 master's/master's equivalent increase, adjusting her 2016-2017 salary to $47,702.Physical education/health teacher Karoline Vavra was approved for a $600 master's/master's equivalent with an additional 15 college credits increase, adjusting her 2016-2017 salary to $37,300.
