Credit defaults
The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.
Midland Funding, Eatonville, New Jersey, filed an action against Charles Clark, Box 266, 361 Fireline Road, Parryville, seeking $993.67.
TD Bank USA, Canonsburg, filed an action against Marshall E. Eldridge, 93 N. Kittatinny Road, Lehighton, seeking $1,3021.15.
Synchrony Bank, Canonsburg, filed an action against Kimberly Cunningham, 3626 Rocky Hill Road, White Haven, seeking $1,275.
Discover Bank, New Albany, Ohio, filed the following actions: Richard W. Taylor, 707 Oak Grove Drive, Lehighton, seeking $19,132.16; and Cristi M. Richardson, 70 Black Bear Circle, Kunkletown, seeking $15,562.89.
Credit line default
UHG LLC for Pentagon Federal Credit Union, 64 Sheridan Drive, Williamsville, New York, filed a civil action against Michael Muchnik and Svetlana Davidovich, 599 Old Stage Rd., Albrightsville, alleging they defaulted on a credit line agreement.
Sought is $32,537.11 plus interest, costs and fees.
Auto crash suits
The following actions seeking damages were filed as the result of an automobile crash.
Charles and Helen Rossi, 88 Porter Drive, Jim Thorpe, filed an against Gregory J. and Igor Kasriel, 439 Rodeo Drive, Kunkletown.
The suit states on Dec. 1, 2018, the plaintiff, Charles Rossi, was operating a motor vehicle southbound on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, while Gregory J. Kasriel was driving a vehicle, owned by Igor Kasriel, northbound.
The suit alleges Kasriel was operating the vehicle in a careless and negligent manner causing a collision between the two vehicles.
Damages are sought for injuries sustained by the plaintiff and detailed in the suit. Sought are damages in excess of $50,000.
A second suit was filed by Alexis Rossi, 88 Porter Drive, Jim Thorpe, for the same crash seeking damages. The plaintiff was a front seat passenger in the vehicle operated by Charles Rossi and sustained injuries detailed in the suit. Damages in excess of $50,000 are sought for alleged careless driving and negligence for the crash.
Loan default
OneMain Financial Group, 601 NW Second St., Evansville, Indiana, filed a civil action against Elizandel Turbi, 40 Berwick St., Beaver Meadows, alleging she defaulted on a loan agreement. Sought is $13,438.36 plus interest, costs and fees.
