Just before winter break begins, the Weatherly School Board held its meeting and announced the district's November Students of the Month.

Sixth-grader Angelina Fewins, daughter of Girard and Laurie Fewins, was recognized by the board. She is a first honor student and a singer with the middle school chorus. She plays basketball with the Weatherly Biddy League and softball with the school's girls league.Jordyn Shupp, daughter of Tiffany Shupp was recognized as seventh-grade student of the month. She is a principal's honor student and member of the art club.Will Nyer, son of Carl and Theresa was the eighth-grade student recognized. He is a first honor student and member of the cross-country, boys junior high basketball and track and field teams.Senior of the Month Samantha DeSpirito, is the daughter of the newly hired high school Principal Anthony and wife Paula DeSpirito. She serves as treasurer of her class, and of the Weatherly high school's chapter of the National Honor Society. She plays with the Lady Wreckers Basketball.
