Liquor violations reported

The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, reported on a Schuylkill County business being cited for liquor code violations and the investigation of the illegal sales of alcohol without a proper license.

The Hideout at MaryD, 717 Hilltop Road, MaryD, was cited for failure to clean malt or brewed beverage dispensing system at least once every seven days on Dec. 25 and 26, 2019; Jan. 3, 4, 26 through 28; Feb. 5 through 8, 16, 17; March 10; July 1, 2, 10, 11, 30, 31; Aug. 1, 9 through 15, 30; and Sept. 3, 11 and 19.

An officer of the state police bureau of liquor control enforcement conducted an investigation in Delano for an allegation of sales of alcohol without a license. The board did not give any other details.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serous offenses. Also, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge.
