A Tamaqua man was found not guilty of disorderly conduct, reversing a lower-court ruling.

Edward J. Sestakauskas, 69, was charged by Tamaqua police on May 17.District Judge Stephen J. Bayer of Tamaqua, on July 28 found Sestakauskas guilty.Sestakauskas appealed on Aug. 24 appealed Bayer's ruling to Schuylkill County court, where Judge John E. Domalakes on Nov. 21 found him not guilty.Guilty pleasRichard J. Brown, 33, of Nesquehoning: Charged by Coaldale police with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, and failing to use his low beams on Jan. 9.Domalakes sentenced him to five days to six months in jail, fined him $325 and ordered him to perform 20 hours community service. The low beams charge was dropped.Anthony D. Fitzgerald, 35, of Tamaqua: Charged by state police at Frackville with making false statements under penalty and unsworn falsification to authorities on Oct. 7, 2015.Domalakes sentenced him to 12 months on probation. The unsworn falsification charge was dropped.John J. Kamant Jr., 56, of Tamaqua: Charged by state police at Frackville with theft, receiving stolen property, and harassment on April 16, 2015.Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin sentenced him to 30 to 90 days in jail, but granted him immediate parole.The charges of theft and receiving stolen property were dropped.Damian M. Lutz, 19, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with prohibited possession of firearm and recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor, and person not to possess/use a firearm - incompetent, on June 8.Domalakes sentenced him to six to 23 months in jail.He also ordered Lutz to undergo drug and alcohol and mental health evaluations.Charges of disorderly conduct and purchase of alcohol were dropped.Terri L. Kates, 37, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with retail theft on April 21.Domalakes sentenced her to one year on probation.
