Jim Thorpe Area High School is back to normal again after a bomb threat this afternoon.
Students and staff had been evacuated from the building.
Jim Thorpe Police and a fire truck were dispatched to the school campus around 12:30 p.m.
Superintendent Brian Gasper said that a suspicious message was found in the school, leading district officials to initiate their crisis response.
Lehigh Carbon Community College, which has a campus adjacent to the school, has canceled classes as a result of the threat.
The college sent out a tweet around 12:45 p.m. saying that all classes at their Jim Thorpe campus had been canceled until further notice.
