Hemlock Drive in Mahoning Township was closed after a vehicle impacted with and snapped off a utility pole.

The incident occurred about a half mile north of Route 902 just after 7 p.m.

Utility lines were hanging dangerously close to the roadway where some lower vehicles may pass under safely while some may tangle with the lines. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident assisted by Mahoning Township fire police who closed down the roadway.
