Members of Preceptor Alpha Upsilon held Beginning Day recently at Lake Hauto. Hostess Marie Umbriac provided dinner and games were enjoyed. The members returned the baby bottle banks filled with change to donate to the Jewel Women’s Center. Donna Gerber reported that Koch’s Feed Store donated birdseed that we delivered to the Hometown Nursing Center. The chapter also donated snacks and goodies to the residents of the fifth floor at St. Luke’s Miners Campus. The items will be used as bingo prizes. In addition, members voted to donate to the “Jenna’s Run” fundraiser. We will also purchase three wreaths for the “Wreaths Across America” project.
