Palmerton announces updated spectator guidelines

Palmerton Area School District has adjusted its Football Game Day Plan in accordance with Gov. Wolf’s latest spectator limits, effective Friday Oct. 9.

The plan is as follows:

Each member of Palmerton football, band, and cheer will receive one Family Pass. The Family Pass will admit four family members into Friday’s game against Northwestern.

All four family members must arrive and check in together at the ticket booth entrance giving the name of the participant prior to entering the stadium.

Security will be present during this process, and gates will open at 5:45 p.m. A face covering will be required to enter and move about the stadium.

Families are expected to sit in marked areas on the home side bleachers and distance themselves from other spectators.

There will be no away spectators at this time.

Palmerton will also be honoring senior band members and holding its first Military Appreciation Night.

The game will be streamed on the school’s YouTube Channel, as well as live broadcast on BRC TV13.

Family Passes will be handed out Thursday to coaches for team distribution.
