Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer an employer information session beginning at 8:30 a.m. July 21 at the Carbon County CareerLink located at 69 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.

The information session will focus on a variety of educational programs, as well as a new noncredit seminar in workplace safety developed for business and industry.LCCC has been providing leadership and job training programs for many years in Carbon County and is a source used by business and industry for workplace training. The programs are available to employers to equip front-line employees, supervisors and managers with effective workplace skills to strengthen their organization.The courses can be customized for any business.Some programs include communication and leadership skills training: customer service, team building, and conflict management; computer software training: email management, social media marketing, and desktop publishing; technical and safety training: OSHA certification, forklift certification; public safety training: workplace safety seminar, traffic safety for security personnel.
