Police said hospital staff members called them about Krasnitsky's injuries.Assistant District Attorney Robert I. Lipkin will prosecute Colon, who will be defended by Assistant Public Defender Andrea L. Thompson. Since Lipkin will be trying another case, the starting date for Colon's trial has not been set. Colon's case also has not yet been assigned to a judge. The case Lipkin is trying today before Judge Jacqueline L. Russell involves four defendants Haroun A. Elhudi, 37, address not known; Loron Irving, 41, of Pottsville; Daniel Lopez Jr., 24, of Minersville; and Brent E. Newman, 29, of Shenandoah. District Attorney Christine A. Holman said Friday that the case involves an alleged conspiracy to break into a building in July 2014 in Pottsville.Holman also said there were 67 cases originally on the trial list, but that guilty pleas by many of the defendants cut into that number."We do our best to try to have these pleas submitted in advance before jurors are called in," Holman said. "We are cognizant of everybody's time."Distributed by Tribune Content Agency LLC
