Homemade food available for purchase.Food pantryThe Food Pantry for Palmerton Area families in need will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridayat St. John's Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton. The CACPAC-sponsored pantry serves households in Palmerton, Towamensing and Lower Towamensing townships, and the Palmerton Area School District including Bowmanstown. The food bank is always in need of canned goods, nonperishable food items and monetary donations.
