A search for a missing 14-year-old boy led to a fugitive arrest in Monroe County Thursday afternoon.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police were called to assist the Monroe County Children and Youth office at 3:49 p.m. with the search for the missing boy.The search led to the residence of the child's half sister, Heather Byron, 28, of Pocono Summit.While on scene, police conducted an NCIC check on Byron's identity, and discovered that she was wanted by the State of New Jersey for a probation violation on an original charge of Distribution of CDS (Heroin).Police arrested Byron without incident, and she was taken before MDJ Germano for arraignment.
