Lansford Alive Events Committee is sponsoring a picnic for Lansford's Hometown Veteran Heroes.

The picnic will be held from 4-6 p.m. June 17 at the Sports Zoo.To ensure your intention to come to the picnic, veterans must prepay $5. Money will be refunded the day of the picnic.Fee for family members will be $5 each nonrefundable. Deadline is June 7.The menu will consist of hamburgers/hot dogs, salad, soda and water. To make donations with food, money or help, call Irma at 570-645-8665.Entertainment will be provided by Anthracite Audio (DJ Rob Hertzog). Please bring lawn chairs.
