Noel and Bernadette (Clarke) Behan of Jim Thorpe are celebrating their golden anniversary.

The couple was married Sept. 4, 1970, by the Rev. Donnelly at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Baldoyle, Dublin, Ireland.

Mrs. Behan is the daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen Clarke of Dublin, Ireland.

Mr. Behan is the son of the late Richard and Mary Behan of Dublin, Ireland.

They are the parents of three sons, Mark and his wife Debra, Darren and his wife Jennifer, and Paul and his wife Joy. They also have six grandchildren.
