L.B. Morris recycling project

L.B. Morris elementary school first grader Ezra Krout tosses 10 spent markers into a box for shipping as part of Crayola’s ColorCycle program. The program recycles used makers rather than send them to the landfill.
First graders Nathaniel Summers, Aubrey Jaeger and Kailyn Skelly from Barbara Cerimele’s first grade class at L.B. Morris Elementary school grab spent markers out of the collection box to be counted and packaged for shipping to Crayola for recycling.
Landon Schrantz counts out 10 markers to be placed in a box to be shipped to Crayola for recycling. Barbara Cerimele’s first grade class has been collecting spent markers from the entire school and families to be repurposed rather than thrown away.
