Fire companies from two counties responded to a fire call early Sunday morning in Kidder Township.

The Lake Harmony fire company was dispatched at 6 a.m. to the Pocono Resort and Convention Center along Route 940.

When they arrived on scene they found smoke in the structure.

According to Chief Ralph Lennon, it was a rooftop heating unit that malfunctioned and put some smoke into the building.

It took a few minutes to air out the building

Albrightsville and White Haven fire companies also responded.
