A Tamaqua man was arrested and jailed over the weekend on outstanding criminal warrants.

State police at Frackville said Jeremiah Raymond Sanders, 24, was picked up about 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, along Broad Street, in the borough.Troopers said he was wanted for parole violations in both Carbon and Northampton counties. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Carbon prison in Nesquehoning. A detainer was also placed on him from Northampton County.
