The Greenzweig Insurance Agency is on the move. The firm's new location is at 1130 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, in the former Tamaqua Appliance building.

Owner Jamie Greenzweig is a Hometown native who started her licensed insurance agent career in 2002, working as an independent agent. She teamed up with the Farmers Insurance Company in 2016, opening her Tamaqua location in February because "I believe it is a great area and wanted to help the people in the community I live in."The business also employs two additional agency producers, Stephanie Dreher of Nesquehoning and Bill Thompson of Tamaqua.A grand opening and ribbon cutting will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The public is welcome to attend.
