A Monroe County man is facing drug counts following an incident that occurred about 3:38 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 575 Scenic Drive, Indian Mountain Lakes, Albrightsville, along with emergency personnel for a reported drug overdose.On scene police found Vincent Carini, 27, of that address, in a catatonic state from the ingestion of prescribed medication and/or use of synthetic narcotics.Carini was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for evaluation. While at the hospital police said Carini was found to have on his person several types of narcotics including heroin and phencyclidine and several pills in a plastic bag. Also found was a large sum of U.S. currency.As a result police said Carini is facing several drug counts.
