Mortgage foreclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

MMS Mortgage Services LTD, c/o 38275 Twelve Mile Road, Farmington Hills, Michigan, filed an action against Frank and John Casper, 1560 Green Hill Road, Collegeville, over property at 67 Hunt Trail, Section V, Towamensing Trails, Albrightsville. Sought is $97,324.42 and continuing interest.

MMS Mortgage Services filed an action against Rodney S. Steward, 2121 Long Run Road, Lehighton, over property at that address. Sought is $83,652.29 and continuing interest.

Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Citibank, Fort Washington, filed the following actions: Herbert Green III, 11 Matthew Lane, Kunkletown, seeking $1,960.34; Betty Anne Hoffman, 69 Shadblue Lane, Jim Thorpe, seeking $2,522.84; and Miroslav Kubas, 41 Packerton Dam Drive, Lehighton, seeking $2,372.39.

Synchrony Bank, Canonsburg, filed an action against Leonard Lopopolo Jr. 126 Lenape Trail, Albrightsville, seeking $5,408.02.

Insurance suit

Progressive Specialty Insurance Company, 5920 Landerbrook Drive, Mayfield, Ohio, filed a civil action against Tiffany Lampron, 216 High St., Nesquehoning, and Jacqueline Picado, 5175 Hickory Lane, Kunkletown.

The plaintiff was the insurer of a vehicle and its operator that was involved in a crash on Dec. 6, 2017, near Route 902 and Pine Street, in Summit Hill. The plaintiff claims Lampron was operating a vehicle owned by Picado when she crashed into a vehicle insured by the plaintiff. The crash caused damages and injuries to the insured.

The suit alleges negligence and/or carelessness against Lampron for the crash and Picado, as owner, liable for the acts of Lampron. Damages sought are $13,733.57 plus interest, costs and fees.
