No one was hurt in a two-vehicle accident at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Maury Road area, near SR903, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said Andrea R. Castillo, of New Jersey, was driving a tractor trailer when he noticed the rig was over the posted weight limit to continue down SR903 into Jim Thorpe.Police said he attempted to turn around, and the trailer portion of the rig was across both lanes of travel when a westbound vehicle driven by Paul D. DiGennaro, of Weatherly, approached. police said DiGennaro did not see the rig due to heavy fog and his vehicle hit the trailer in the midsection.
