State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Bakeer Abdullah Jones, 33, of Lebanon is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The charges stemmed from an incident at 1:29 a.m. Nov. 29 on Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township. Police said he was stopped while driving a vehicle that had a suspended Pa. registration, after which time police suspected he was driving under the influence. Police then found a large amount of marijuana in the man's possession.
