Palmerton Borough Recycling Correction - There was an error on the recycling calendar for the month of December. The next recyclables collection will be Monday. The first collection in 2017 will beJan. 2.Holy TrinityHoly Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday. The Children's Christmas Program will be held. Following the service, a special congregational meeting will be held to consider the adoption of the 2017 budget and the election of members to the church council. There will be a council meeting at 6 p.m.Holy Trinity will be celebrating one worship service on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. This service will be traditional carols, communion and candle lighting.First UCCFirst United Church of Christ, 457 Delaware Ave., Palmerton will hold services at 9 a.m. Sundayand Sunday school will be at 10 a.m. Christmas Eve worship will be at 6:30 p.m. with a service of carols, candlelight and communion.
