Nesquehoning Police Officer Tim Wuttke received a commendation on his quick thinking at Ametek which may have avoided a disaster. Wuttke stopped a tractor trailer from leaving the plant with the harmful acid contained in the trailer. Although the driver was agitated, Wuttke's quick thinking, investigative persistence and determination, provided a disaster from becoming community widespread. He is receiving the letter from Mayor Tony Walck.
