Police say a 14-year-old passenger died in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 early Friday morning.

Police say the victim is a 14-year-old from Columbus, Ohio, but have not released any more details.The wreck occurred around 4 a.m. on I-80 near mile marker 288.4 in Tunkhannock Twp., Monroe County.According to state police, a 2008 Honda Civic was eastbound on I-80 when it left the roadway, rolled over and struck a tree.The driver of the vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Frenci De La Cruz of Columbus, Ohio.She and a 20-year-old passenger were transported to Pocono Medical Center with what police described as moderate injuries.Police said none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts.The crash is still under investigation.
