LITITZ, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say that charges have been dropped against former Pennsylvania restaurant owners accused of scavenging deer parts from trash bins outside butcher shops.

A spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Game Commission told PennLive.com (http://bit.ly/2en20Rw) that the charges against Shi Eng and Chun Eng were dropped last month because a witness decided not to testify.Wildlife officers said in July that the couple had been collecting discarded deer parts for the past couple years and violated laws that prohibit selling wild venison.Chun Eng said that the couple was not selling deer meat at their Lititz Chinese restaurant.
