The Pocono Health System and Pocono Health Foundation has appointed new board members.

Carolyn M. Bortz, vice president of Academic Affairs at Northampton Community College. Maria Teresa Candelaria, attorney, has practiced law for 40 years.Rejoining the Pocono Health Foundation Board is Dr. William A. Viechnicki, DDS, ABO.Viechnicki served on the Pocono Health Foundation Board since its inception in 2003 until 2015.Also joining the Pocono Health Foundation Board is Maria Teresa Candelaria and Dr. Allister Williams, M.D.Williams works as an orthopedic spine surgeon with Mountain Valley Orthopedics and head of Spine Surgery Services at Pocono Medical Center since 2008.
