A Carbon County driver escaped injury after she lost control of her car on a wet roadway.

State police at Fern Ridge said Samantha A. Katzen, of Jim Thorpe, was driving a 1993 Toyota Celica along Old Stage Road in Penn Forest Township, about 1:58 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, when she lost control while negotiating a left curve. The car spun and came to rest in a grassy ditch.Troopers noted the roadway was wet at the time.
