Break-ins probed

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating three burglaries, two occurring in Carbon County and one in Monroe County.

Troopers said the residence of Anthony Musto, 173 Chippewa Trail, Mt. Pocahontas, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was entered through a front sliding glass door. Removed from the home was a television. The incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Feb. 11 and 8:50 a.m. on Feb. 12.A residence at 43 Milton Way, in Towamensing Trails, Penn Forest Township, was the scene of incident. Unknown criminals removed a hasp with the lock from a shed door but failed to remove anything from the shed. They then went under the residence and removed some of the insulation from the floor joist, but failed to remove anything from the home. The incident occurred sometime between Feb. 3-12. The home is owned by Michael Pendergast, of Woodstown, N.J.A residence at 91 McKinley Drive, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, was had a garage on the property entered and removed was several times including a television, DVD/VCR combo player, a remote vacuum cleaner and about 20 DVDs. The property is owned by Mario Alvarado, of Staten Island, N.Y. The incident occurred sometime between Feb. 18 and March 1.
