Lehighton Borough received a $2,000 donation Sunday morning from the Lehighton Orioles Nest 183.

The Orioles routinely donate to emergency services organizations, government entities or other community groups.According to Tom Silvonek, an Orioles officer, the borough is free to use the money for any cause they see fit.Lehighton Councilman Darryl Arner said the borough had not finalized plans for the money.The donation took place during the Orioles' monthly breakfast at its community center in Mahoning Township.
