Carbon County Navy Club, with the permission of Lansford Borough, is planning a plaque and monument to all waterborne veterans, past, present and future, to be placed in the town, similar to the one that was created in Summit Hill last year.

Robert "Ski" Siesputowski of the club said that enough funding for the purchase of the plaque has been received, but donations are still needed for the purchase of the stone that the plaque will be placed on.The club is looking for monetary donations to make this project a success.To donate, contact Siesputowski at 219 W.
