Lansford girl crowned Miss Amazing Jr. Teen

Reilly Bauer, a seventh-grade student at Panther Valley Junior/Senior High School, has been crowned Miss Amazing Jr. Teen in the Pennsylvania Miss Amazing Pageant, heldrecently at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts in Bethlehem. She competed against 20 girls in her division.

Reilly, 13, is the daughter of Colleen and Kevin Bauer of Lansford.This is her second win in the annual pageant. Last year she was crowned Miss Amazing Preteen. Like last year, Reilly will travel to Chicago this summer to compete for the National Miss Amazing title. She was also chosen for the new Ambassador Program to represent Miss Amazing nationwide because of her dedication to the program.Reilly is a cheerleader on the junior high squad. She is involved in community theater at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, where she also takes voice lessons. The goal of the Miss Amazing pageant is to provide an opportunity for girls and women with disabilities to build confidence and reach their full potential in a supportive and fun environment.There are 30 states involved in the program at this time. This is the second year for Pennsylvania.
