State police at Hazleton are investigating a theft of all-terrain vehicles in Banks Township.

Troopers said a 58-year-old man from East Oak Street in Tresckow reported two all-terrain vehicles were stolen from his property. The vehicles were described as a yellow 2005 Honda TRX400EX, yellow; and a red 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525cc.

Troopers added that the Polaris was later recovered about a quarter mile from the victim’s residence.

Troopers said the Polaris had $5,000 in damages. The theft occurred sometime between Sunday and Tuesday.
