A Carbon County man was killed and his wife seriously injured in a Sunday morning crash.

State police at Hazleton said John Molosky, 68, of Beaver Meadows died in the crash while his wife, Gloria Phyllis Molosky, 67, was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest with serious injuries.Troopers said the crash occurred along Route 93 (Berwick Street), in the village of Coxeville, Banks Township, about a mile outside Beaver Meadows.Troopers said Molosky was southbound when his vehicle left the roadway and traveled through several yards before hitting a tree. Rescue personnel were called to the scene at 10 a.m. Molosky was pronounced dead at the scene.The Carbon County coroner's office is investigating. An autopsy is scheduled. Coroner Bruce Nalesnik said the autopsy will determine if the death was an accident or natural.
