Golden Agers

The Panther Valley Golden Agers met Aug. 22. The meeting was opened by President Irene Hudasky with the singing of "God Bless America" and the Pledge of Allegiance. Norma Lee Burke and Ruth Ann Feane led the group's singing and readings and 32 members attended.Frank Karnish and Hudasky gave an update on recent and upcoming trips. Congratulations were extended to Karnish and his wife, Mary Ann, on the birth of their new grandson, their eighth grandchild.Sunshine report was given by Nancy Conzoneri stating three are on the sick list. Hospitality for September and October are Burke and Ruth Ann Feane.The next meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall.
