A West Penn Township man has been found guilty of harassment for shoving an elderly neighbor to the ground.

Philip J. D. Traube, 31, of New Ringgold, committed the crime on July 28, according to online court records.Officer Denna V. Krammes said the incident happened as a neighbor and his wife were walking their dog on Laurel Lane when they heard a car driving at a high rate of speed.The man stepped out and yelled for the car to slow down.Traube stopped his car, got out and started asking him what his problem was. Then he went over to the man and pushed him, knocking him to the ground.Police filed the charge of harassment on Aug. 12.District Judge James R. Ferrier of Orwigsburg found Traube guilty on Nov. 10, and fined him and ordered him to pay court costs and fees.In other West Penn police news, Damon L. Oliver, 42, of Mahanoy City, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence at the highest rate of alcohol level, greater than 0.16 percent (0.08 is the threshold for driving under the influence) on April 30.After a preliminary hearing on Nov. 15, Ferrier sent the charges on to Schuylkill County court.
