The public is invited to eat breakfast and participate in a basket raffle in Lansford on Sunday to help two local organizations.

American Fire Co. No. 1 will host its monthly breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon.The menu includes eggs, pancakes, and creamed chipped beef.The Panther Valley Intermediate School PTO will also be holding the first of three events in a traveling basket raffle.$5 gets 25 chances. Baskets are valued between $50-$100. The winning entries will be drawn in May.
