State police at Frackville are investigating an incident that occurred at a Schuylkill County hotel.

Troopers said at 8:18 a.m. Tuesday, they were called to the Holiday Express Hotel, located off Mall Road in New Castle Township, near the formerly site of the Schuylkill Mall.

Troopers were told while employees of the hotel were cleaning a room they found several items including fraudulent checks, check making equipment and drug paraphernalia.
