KidsPeace has named Thespina Godshalk to the position of director of TeenCentral. She has served as senior clinical program and staff development specialist in the organizational development and training department since 2012.

In her new position, Godshalk will manage the organization's web-based counseling resource for teens, TeenCentral.Net.TeenCentral.Net is a prevention and intervention resource site for teens in any location, providing information and support.The centerpiece of the service is the ability for teens to safely and anonymously post questions, concerns or description of their struggles, and receive a response from a trained counselor within 24 hours, free of charge.In 2011, KidsPeace launched a companion site, ParentCentral.Net, to provide similar support and guidance to parents and caregivers.Godshalk will redesign and relaunch the two sites in the spring of 2017.She earned a bachelor's degree in experimental psychology from Moravian College and a master's degree in clinical psychology from Chestnut Hill College.She is a licensed professional counselor.
