Panther Valley School District and St. Luke's Miners campus want to "bullyproof your child."

On Monday, the two organizations, through the Adopt a School program, will host educational comedian Keith Deltano, who will present a parent workshop on giving the gift of resilience to children and ways to "bullyproof" them.The free event is at 6:30 p.m. in the Panther Valley Junior/Senior High School auditorium.Deltano, who is the creator of the anti-bullying curriculum "The Complete Anti Bullying Kit," will teach parents how to protect their children online, filter web content and monitor social media.He will also share how to create resilient children that can survive in a culture that seems to be intent on tearing them down.Deltano uses his own experiences as a public school teacher, private counselor, youth worker and U.S. Army Airborne military police officer to convey the message of this very serious problem plaguing today's youth.The workshop is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.For more information on Deltano, visit
