Retail theft arrests

Jim Thorpe police reported on several retail theft arrests made by officers all occurring at the Jim Thorpe Market, located at 101 Laurel St.

Lori Bobarsky, 46, of 5 Game Drive, Jim Thrope, was cited in two separate incidents. The first incident occurred on Nov. 1, 2012, when she was allegedly observed removing a can of Barbasol shaving cream valued at $1.96; and the second incident on Nov. 6, 2012, when she was allegedly observed removing two five-pound packages of icelandic haddock valued at $74.09.A 17-year-old male from Albrightsville cited for an incident on Dec. 11, 2012, when he was allegedly observed on video surveillance removing a bottle of Robitussin liquid gel caps valued at $6.99.Jane Lynn Bamford, 55, of 203 Yard St., Nesquehoning, was cited for an incident on Dec. 12, 2012, when she was allegedly observed on video removing an item valued at $3.89.Kerri Garner, 35, of 10 Cedar Ave., Jim Thorpe, was cited for an incident on Dec. 16 in which Garner was observed on video allegedly removing a Gerber product item valued at $5.08.
